1. CANAPÉS, A DELICIOUS SWEET POTATO

  • 2 sweet potatoes, cut into thin rings

  3. When the sweet potatoes are roasted, place small pieces of brussels sprouts roasted (cut into quarters) on top of slices of sweet potato.

  5. Finally, sprinkle with berries, pomegranate and sprouts to taste.

2. FIGS STUFFED WITH GOAT CHEESE AND PISTACHIOS

– Ingredients –

  • Fresh figs (cut in half) q. b.
  • Goat cheese q. b.
  • Pistachios chopped q. b.
  • Ground black pepper q. b.
  • 2 c. tablespoon honey
  • 4 c. tablespoon balsamic vinegar

– Mode of preparation –

  1. Split the figs in half and place on a serving dish.
  2. Press the center of the figs and place on top, a teaspoon of goat cheese.
  3. Then, sprinkle the pistachios over the cheese and season with ground black pepper.
  4. To the part in a bowl, mix the honey with the balsamic vinegar. Spread this sauce by the figs and serve.

3. HORS D’OEUVRES OF SWEET POTATO WITH A CREAM OF AVOCADO

  • 2 sweet potatoes, medium washed and cut in thick slices
  • ½ C. tea cumin
  • ½ C. tea paprika smoked
  • Sea salt q. b.
  • 1 ½ c. of tea of olive oil
  • 1 avocado, large, pitted
  • ¼ Cup of lemon juice
  • ½ C. tea sea salt
  • 5 cherry tomatoes cut in thick pieces
  • ½ Cup of sprouts of radish or beans

– Mode of preparation –

  1. Start by pre-heating the oven to 204 C.
  2. In a bowl mix the sweet potatoes, the cumin, the paprika, the olive oil and the salt.
  3. Line a tray with baking paper and distribute the slices of sweet potatoes in a single layer and bake in the oven to bake for about 15 minutes or until soft.
  4. Meanwhile, remove the pulp of the avocado and place in a bowl.
  5. Add to the avocado in the lemon juice and ½ teaspoon salt. Mash well with the back of a fork.
  6. Then, remove the slices of sweet potato from the oven and place on a plate or platter. Top each slice with a serving of avocado, followed by tomato and sprouts of radish or beans.

4. CANAPÉ OF BRIE CHEESE AND CHUTNEY OF RED ONION

  • 1 French baguette
  • 1 package brie cheese
  • Chutney of red onion and Port wine q. b.

– Mode of preparation –

  1. Cut the baguette into slices about 1 cm thick and place them in the oven, preheated to 180 º C, until they are slightly golden.
  2. In the meantime cut the brie cheese into slices with 0.5 cm thickness.
  3. Arrange the Brie cheese on the baguette and bring it back to the oven for 1 to 2 minutes.
  4. Finally, on each slice place a teaspoon of chutney red onion and serve immediately.

5. CANAPÉS OF MELON, BLUE CHEESE, HAM AND BASIL

  • Melon (peeled and without seeds) q. b.
  • 250g blue cheese (can be Roquefort, Silton, Gorgonzola, Cabrales, or Danish Blue, for example)
  • 160g 200g of ham slices thin

– Mode of preparation –

  1. It is very simple to do. Cut the melon and the cheese into cubes (about 2x 2 cm each).
  2. Fold the ham slices in an orderly fashion.
  3. Finally, make small skewer with melon, blue cheese, ham and a basil leaf. Serve immediately.
