New BlackBerry Rio caught on a few images, mid-range model is expected to be launched in the second quarter.
A new BlackBerry model is reportedly on the way, previously went under the nickname Rio, but new information from the N4BB pointing towards it instead of should be called BlackBerry Leap.
According to BlackBerry itself, the phone is designed for “Power users” who wants to be perceived by others as being in step with technology, but where the price also play a crucial role. Leap is therefore a midrange phone and hopefully therefore also sold at an affordable price.
The pictures show a very stylish phone, and specifications will be supposedly as follows: 720 p 5-inch display, 8-and 2 megapixel camera, 2,800 mAh battery, dual-core 1.5 GHz MSM 8960 chip, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB of memory and support for microSD cards. It is expected to be available in the depicted colour, as well as in white.
The price is yet unknown, and despite previous statements about an expected launch date in February, it pushed to april or may-we must therefore not make us great hope to see BlackBerry Leap at the Mobile World Congress.
